HOMELESS FAMILIES

The Pocono area transitional housing (PATH) is a private 501c3 nonprofit charitable corporation. We provide safe and secure temporary housing for homeless families with children in Monroe county. We offer a boardinghouse type of environment with staff on site 24 hours a day to support our residents.

A case manager works with each family to identify the cause of their housing crisis (homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless). PATH staff then creates an action plan to resolve it. The ultimate goal of path is that each resident family will be able to not only obtain, but also to maintain permanent housing upon leaving the program.

HOPE & PURPOSE

When someone lives here, we create a lifestyle that exactly replicates what they will live like when they leave here. We want them to walk into their new place and feel confident that they can take care of it.
